Another day, another dollar minus tax

Despite the fact that we are heading to China in a couple of short months, it doesnt stop me feeling like im slowly sliding back into the 9-to-5 rut that we clawed our way out of only a bit over a year ago. I'm probably just spoiled, having been unemployed in Asia for so long, so now waking at a normal time feels so wrong, and taking orders from a boss other than kate doesnt come naturally either.

I feel a little bit like a fish out of water, since everyone else seems so content to be in the one place. I guess im a fish with itchy feet... or something.

The best thing about being back in Australia for now is definitely that we are able to catch up with our friends, whenever we have time. Over the weekend just gone we held an italian themed dinner party for a few mutual friends of ours and kates family. We cooked up some damn fine food, if i do say so myself, and everyone left at least a few kilos heavier.

Cant wait to see what we end up doing next weekend :)
