Unemployed and loving it

Kate and I are now bums. OK, i know, but OFFICIALLY now. We have both finished up with our jobs, and are packing up all our stuff, getting ready to hit the road again.

Only a little over a week left until we leave, and we still have a lot of stuff to get done. Like working on our tans, making sure no wine is left behind, swimming and other time consuming tasks like those. My 'ToDo' list is as long as my sunburnt arm.

Kate has been roadtesting her new camera, which is a big digital SLR monster of a thing that takes amazing photos when you arent even trying.

Ive been packing up all our computer stuff, making sure it all works, backing up our precious photos to a safe location, and playing around with my little guitar.

Last weekend we had a bit of a get together with kate's family, and were treated to a pseudo-christmas-style banquet out on the balcony. Nothing like enjoying prawn rolls and sparkling red wine in the sunshine.

Now we are back down in Sydney, staying with my parents for a week or so, seeing our mates down here and enjoying our last week or so in australia.

Yep, life is good right now.
